I just found out, at the age of 23, that “Liam” is short for “William.” I wish sooooo badly that I had known that 20 years ago. How different would my life have turned out if I went by “Liam”? Just think of the possibilities!!

1. tricialew said: There are so many Williams in our family, I wish one of them had gone with Liam. My nephew goes by Will but I lovingly call him Liam. He’s 17 so he doesn’t think my nicknames for everyone is cute any more.
