My PAX

This was a great #PAX. It was my first year enforcing. I did Line Entertainment and in addition to my normal Enforcer responsibilities, I also helped out at the decide-o-tron booth (it’s an app developed by the collaboration of PA and Eedar). This was a big PAX for me.
I’ve been going to PAX ever since 2006, back when it was at the Bellevue Maydenbauer Center. I’ve been going as an attendee ever since then up until this year. Back in January, my friend Kyle (aka “Aioua,” aka “vowels”) has convinced me into enforcing and I’m glad I did. This year, I gave back to PAX. Additionally, this is also the year that I got the most out of PAX. I developed a new professional connection and furthered the report (I feel like that’s not the correct spelling…) of two others. I also made some new friends. :3 I’ve discovered a talent. I’m good at networking.
The absolute biggest and best part of PAX for me was meeting a group of people that I used to work with remotely. I have been dying to meet them since we finished our work and I finally got to meet them; additionally, I felt well received. This alone was awesome, but some potential for future collaboration was also borne of this. :) 
I also got to brighten the day of a few of my friends, which I love to do. ;3 I didn’t get to do as much “Expo Hauling” as I usually would have liked, but I still walked away with 1 shirt, TWO different Bioshock Infinite posters (can’t WAIT for that game; Ken Levine is a genius), an On Live console (…that will be shipped to me), and a Bastion bandana, signed poster, and signed OST (their booth was pretty ballin’ in terms of swag). I also got to see a good panel; the late night show with Scott and Kris. Aw yeah. It was hilarious! I am definitely going to start watching their show.
Also, PAX is still not over for me…I’ll be going to the Enforcer PAX after party tomorrow. :3 A “PAXfter party” as it were (it’s not, I just made that up).

(Also, look at how often I use parentheses, isn’t it appalling?) ;)
